How is Meeples at Sea different from other boardgaming cruises such as Dice Tower Cruise and BGG@Sea?

While we welcome children and teens to Meeples at Sea with open arms, please understand that the vast majority of our attendees each year are adults.

Meeples at Sea offers the Celebrity Classic Beverage Package, Surf Unlimited Wi-Fi and Prepaid Gratuities as part of the base cruise fare. BGG and Dice Tower sail exclusively on Royal Caribbean, which charges extra for these same items.

No more than 100 guests are permitted per convention.

Can I buy a cabin on my own?

No, you must book through our fabulous Travel Advisor Corey Hargarther with Dream Vacations. He may be reached via e-mail at c.hargarther@dreamvacations.com or phone at 904-516-8462.  This is how we can get our dedicated gaming area and favorable pricing on the ship. If you book outside our group, even if directly with the cruise line, you will unfortunately be unable to enjoy our dedicated game area and will also miss out on giveaways and other prizes. There are absolutely no exceptions.

Can we have more than two (2) guests per stateroom to reduce costs? 

You may work with Corey Hargarther with Dream Vacations to add more guests to your room, but the group rate may no longer apply. He will always try to get you the best rate possible!

Should we bring our own games? 

We will have a library of games, but we welcome others to bring games they want to play with others that are not in our library. A library list will be shared with the group ahead of our departure date.

Will there be group dinners? 

Yes, we arrange group dinners each night for those that want to dine together at 6:00pm. You are not obligated to dine with the group, but we certainly encourage it!  Being a cruise ship, there will be plenty of dining options through the day (and night!). 

Do I need a passport?

We very highly recommend passports for all guests that have at least six months remaining from the end date of the cruise.

When is the final payment due for my cruise?

Final payment is due no later than approximately 100 days prior to departure.

What is included in our cruise fare?

All staterooms booked in our group include Celebrity Classic Beverage Package, Surf Wi-Fi Package and Pre-Paid Gratuities.
